I recently made a simulation game like Gamedev Tycoon where you are in charge of a game company and planning to release it on app stores soon.
I have few questions about trademark and copyright laws, as in game there are different companies (competitor) who release games, make sequel to their previous games, release consoles etc. I know that under parody law I can set company name MICROSOFT as a MICROCRAFT or MINORCRAFT etc. But what if I provide users an Editor where they can change company name (if they want to) from MICROCRAFT to MICROSOFT.
Are changes made by players in data also violates any copyright or trademark law?
And also company while releasing game set game name, which is set from 2 or 3 arrays and any random name can generate like AfterLife or AfterShock, so no one can really predict what next name could be, so it also violate any copyright law?
