I've been programming as a hobby for much too long, thinking about how long exactly makes me feel very old. I've never really wanted to do it for a living, lest I get sick of the sight of it and stop doing it to unwind.
I've always enjoyed being closer to the metal. My favourite programming language--by quite a margin--is C. It's not always the best choice when starting a new project, actually it's rarely a good first choice for anything these days, but at least in the realm of game programming it feels like I'm not just using it out of stubbornness.
I enjoy programming. It's fun. I also enjoy reading, listening to music at volumes much too high to be healthy, and walking. (To make myself feel better after I stuff my face hole.)
