How does the Why do some .obj format define a newline in the filefiles have no newlines?

I'm currently working on my Game Enginea game engine and have just started with some mesh loading. I started with the format .obj (and yeah I know there are alot of better formats, but I was following guides and I think it's good pratices aswell).obj. Now I have run in to aran into this problem.:
