The only way to provide a security guarantee is to put the code/assets on a device you or a trusted party controls and the hacker can't touch except through an API that obeys your game's rules. As to "should you care about this at all" - that's a judgement call you'll need to make for yourself. Different games use different business models that rely more or less on ad/purchase revenue to pass gates, and different developers have different risk tolerance here.
