Call function with signal on other scene
To connect a signal by code, you do like this:
var err := main.connect("signal_name", callable_name)
But, for what I understand you want to do, you don't need a signal.

Avoid certain parts being modulated by CanvasModulate in Godot 4.1
As the author of the tutorial told me, one way to avoid the modulation is adding a CanvasItemMaterial in the Label. In this Material, set the Light Mode to Unshaded. This works nice in my project.
