When you rent a Linux server, you usually use an SSH shell, but you can install a desktop environment and use VNC if you want to.

Is it possible to have it as my own actual instance with remote desktop so i can install my game and configure it how I like? I want to replicate user experience as much as I can and am unfamiliar with the limitations of rented servers.
