FORECON gone programmer...

After serving in the United States Marine Corps for a decade, my love for Wolfenstein and Doom lead me to a career in the software industry. My 20+ year career has taken me through HP(Automation), Lucent(G3 PBX) and Cisco Systems(Image Processing).

My current position is within the bio-science industry where I continue to work in image processing.

I prefer C# and DirectX. I've wrapped my own DirectX libs for use in managed code, but I'm currently using SharpDX.

I'm pretty laid back an won't bust anyone's chops trying to learn. I'm not real big on people that would rather edit your question than answer it...
