I am currently working on building a game and I have no way to get assets. Most, if not all of the posts related to this are outdated it seems. I am not looking for the "best" place to get free assets, merely a list of known places. Thanks in advance.

For which engine do you need assets? Assuming you need assets for Unity, the Unity Asset Store or just CTRL+9 or Cmd+9 on the editor would be the best place to find them. If you need free ones then you can select the category you want and sort the category results by price.

Another place to look for some awesome 3d models would be BlendSwap.

You could even go out and take some photographs. Resize and convert them to materials, textures or sprites.

Hope you find what you needed.
