I have a Render() function in my gameloop that I've added a ImGui window to. That works fine for variables I have in my main Game instance, but how do I get things like this?:

  • current mouse coordinates
  • private properties of used classes stored in Game::property
  • local variables used in loops somewhere else in the code

For the mouse coordinates, I could store them in my Game class.

For private properties I can add Getters(), although I'd rather not expose only for debugging.

And for other variables, I could start a new ImGui window in other places of the code I think?

How did you structure your debugging?
