I importing models from Blender to Unity just moving .blend file to assets. I want edit materials in imported models, mostly, just set smoothness to 0.5, because, this value being exported from Blender is always zero, for some reason.

Then I drag generated prefab from assets window and drop it to the scene.

Then in scene hierarchy I select that dropped prefab and click Unpack completely, but I still can't edit model's materials.

So I have to create the same material, and set up it, which actually is not a big problem, but maybe there is better automatization solution?

Maybe I can somehow by unpacking prefab generate materials duplicates and assign them to object? Is there ready script for that?
