I have begun the process of making a 2D dress up games (i.e. Pastel Girl and Cute Girl Avatar Maker). Majority of the tutorials I have seen always include things like game physics, but I don't need to consider game physics at all. I just need the game to look nice. I would like the game resolution to be 1080p at a 9:16 aspect ratio as my target market is Android and iOS devices. For testing, I have a Galaxy S7 and a Tab S4.

What image size and resolutions would be best for such a game?

I have ZERO Unity experience going into this project, so please forgive me if I ask something that may seem obvious. Thank you for the help!!

Ultimately, you want something that's going to look good, perform well and work on a diversity of platforms. That's not the sort of thing someone else is going to be able to give a right answer to, especially without knowing what your specific intended final product is. \$\endgroup\$ – Pikalek Jun 16 '19 at 23:09
