I'm new to creating games and I'm working on making a simple game to be played with friends on our website. Pretty much we're trying to figure out how to let the user submit a score and receive a "point" or a "virtual currency" in our game. Like you submit a score of 20 here's 1 gold or something like that. I've searched all over, but I cannot find it. I'm not sure if I'm looking up the wrong thing.

\$\begingroup\$ Broadly, how about the client sends a request to the server with their user name and their highscore, the server gives a coin to the user in a db, then the new amount of coin is sent back to the client to be displayed? You'll have to be a bit more specific if you want something more precise :P \$\endgroup\$ – Alexandre Vaillancourt Jan 9 at 20:46
