My game crashes on start-up when using the following emulators installed from Android Studio:

  • Android 5.0 x86_64 emulator
  • Android 6.0 x86_64 emulator

My app does not start, and instead it displays the message "unfortunately, game was stopped".

The game runs normally on other versions of Android, or the x86 versions of Android 5.0 & 6.0

I'm using Unity 2018.3.0f2, with the default compile settings:

  • Min API 16
  • Target API 26 or 27

When I create a new empty project in Unity and try to compile for these emulators, the problem still exists and even this empty app crashes too. So I guess it's not a problem with my game.

What could be the reason for this, and how can I test my game successfully for these versions?

Some errors in logcat:

Process 4939 exited due to signal (11)

Channel is unrecoverably broken and will be disposed!

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Requested window android.os.BinderProxy@3170f579 does not exist
