Looked for hours now. I'm looking for a way to make a smooth transisions for different surfaces. Like I want to make a minigolf course with things like downslopes but I don't want a hard edge for the 2 boxes connecting. Is there a way to smooth this out or do I need to make my courses with blender and import it? Could push me to a tutorial or something like that?

Thanks!

  • \$\begingroup\$ have you tried mixing the textures on normal direction? Or simply vertex colors? \$\endgroup\$ – Sidar Oct 13 '18 at 22:46
  • \$\begingroup\$ It's not about textures or materials, it's about 2 different geometries like 2 planes (like this: _/) connecting having a smooth bevel. I hope I am clear enough? \$\endgroup\$ – Pascal Schaible Oct 13 '18 at 22:51
  • \$\begingroup\$ So to be clear you want surfaces automatically to have their edges transition to adjacent meshes? Your link doesnt work btw \$\endgroup\$ – Sidar Oct 13 '18 at 22:53
  • \$\begingroup\$ Yes, like a smooth transition from horizontal to going uphill for example. I'm going to add a picture to the post to clarify \$\endgroup\$ – Pascal Schaible Oct 13 '18 at 22:56
  • \$\begingroup\$ So anyone think there is a way to do this or do I need to model those in blender? \$\endgroup\$ – Pascal Schaible Oct 14 '18 at 14:40
