I'm sitting on some kind of a Minigolf-Game in my freetime. There is a PowerUp collectable which should give the ball a boost. I tried it with SetPhysicsLinearVelocity and also with AddForce. Generally I am getting the PhysicsLinearVelocity, bump it up by addition or multiply and setting a new PhysicsLinearVelocity. But I used alot of combinations I can't remember right now too.

The problem is, the Ball always jumps up and to the side when rolling straight and I'm not getting behind why. I think its the rotation or something

I already tried to Normalize, break the Vector and set Z to 0, as also break the rotaion setting to 0 - none of it works.

In my head I just want to get the X/Y-Direction of movement and give it a push in that direction.

Any ideas you guys?

Wow I don't know how to put this... I build the example in the Screenshot real quick to show you how I'm thinking of it and I tested it randomly and now it really works... So if someone ever looks that up again, my question is the answer^^
