How about just asking Autodesk support? Maybe leave out the bit where you want to inquire about DRM :)

What exactly are you asking? Do you want to know how to build a text adventure engine? Because that's what you'll need.

comment How can I implement 2D cel shading in XNA?
"cel-shading for 2D graphics" is redundant. Cel-Shading is the technique to make 3D look similar to hand-drawn 2D. You have total control over every pixel in 2D anyway, so to get a cel-shaded look, you simply make your textures so. You want your textures to have black borders, you open the paint program of your choice and make them so. You want them to have a flat look, you make it so. No compositing tricks required.

comment What's the best way to keep battle log in a browser based game written in PHP?
@ChrisFord JSON is a data exchange format, as is, for example, XML. Sure you can persistently save your strings of battle messages in JSON or XML format, but that makes zero sense if you want to save them to a database, as it pretty much invalidates the point of a relational data base. And "a serialized array" still makes no sense, for starters because an array IS a serialized object to begin with. Long story short: if you store data in a relational DB, you store only the raw data. Any relations between your data are stored as separate fields, not as some huge data blob.

me.Texture.Width / (int)((me.frameCount - 1) * me.TextureWidth) What is that supposed to be? Does your object have variable texture width? Also, is the difference between me.Texture.Width and me.TextureWidth intentional? Because if they're the same value, they would cancel each other out.

What does Vector2 pos do? It's never touched in your small IntersectPixels.
