comment What are the reasons for MMOs to have level caps?
Of course, if you can solve these problems another way, by all means have infinite levelling. You'll be in uncharted territory, though.

Everything's moving to GitHub, now. The better link is github.com/libgdx/libgdx/wiki/Scene2d.ui

Related to reaction time is also overreaction. Sometimes a human player moves the paddle too far. Very easy if it's mouse-controlled.

comment Crowdfunding an indie game. What should I offer back?
A lot of people are suggesting involving backers in development (creating people, objects, levels and so on). I don't know about others, but I've certainly avoided games where this is the case, because it says to me that the developers don't have as clear a vision for their game. Maybe it works better for the kinds of games I don't enjoy, making me biased, but it's something to consider.

comment How to deal with (bad?) player suggestions
As for looking at the root suggestion, it could be even more subtle. "The steering sucks! Try these controls instead!" could actually mean that your levels are poorly designed for the current steering, rather than the steering being the issue.

+1 also for not giving promises or direct feedback. Can seem bureaucratic or sucky to the user, but it's better than saying anything else as a lie just to get people to give more feedback. Users are smarter than that.
