cool. glad it worked.

I'm not sure what happens if you try to instantiate passing null, but are you sure that Prefab is not null?

no, that's it... and if you dragged into the Hierarchy and you saw in the inspector what you wanted, then it's correct. It must be something in your loading code.

that really doesn't make sense, there must be something else.

ok, so if you delete everything in the Hierarchy pane and then drag and drop the prefab from the Project pane to the Hierarchy pane, will it have the scripts?

Hm, interesting, I think only now I fully understand your question. I've updated my answer.

comment How to create a new GameObject, without adding it to the scene?
I'm afraid you can't. I think you'll have to delay the instantiation of your class.

comment Is ArrayLists so slow that it is doomed to kill performance in Unity?
They are so slow and old that they are not supported anymore for newer platforms, so you won't find them if you try to compile your game to Windows Phone or Windows Store Apps.

possible duplicate of Move player to mouse click

@Lautaro You shouldn't manipulate RigidBody.velocity but you can achieve what Jason said by calculating the position (see my post). But since you are modeling a propelled vehicle, maybe AddForce is really what you want (so you can have the inertia effect).

comment Live capturing from Unity-like application
We need to know more about your other application. It's possible to either convert the game view into video or use it directly in your application, but we need more detail.

comment How to keep two objects in the same zone when they collide?
@Grey Yes, I think you are right, Grey, that's probably better for him since he probably wants to keep using the rigid bodies to simulate physics in the rest of his application.

I know the answer but cannot answer because someone didn't understand you and put your question on hold :P You have to not use the rigid body physics, use the collider as a trigger, write a script to stop and put the spheres where you want when the collider is activated.

Nice! I wonder if they would do it if it wasn't for Valve.

Does it? My Unity 3.5.5 doesn't build to Linux.

comment Do games depend on OS to scale resolution?
No, it's a curiosity of where scaling is handled.

comment Unity: Spin wheels to move vehicle
It's not about making it fun, it is just that it won't work well if you apply torque, you'll have collision problems.
