What Scala-oriented game frameworks exist? Lack of research? Hardly, I have a specific question and the linked SO question does not answer it. |

Player choices affecting a massive online world The thing about resets is that they'd have to be very far apart -- see Realm Of The Mad God, its world is randomly generated and its cycle begins anew every time the god is destroyed. It's a fun short-term game, but it leaves nothing there of value, such as history. A lineage system could be nice, but it would have to be well-balanced, otherwise you risk giving the most powerful one an unfair advantage right from the start. |

Player choices affecting a massive online world A battle between the "good and evil" teams would be pretty awesome, actually! Instead of a reset, how about, say, the evil team trying to steal an artifact from the heart of the world, thus returning it to darkness, until the good team gets it back? |

Heightfield terrain in ASCII games? Dwarf Fortress in particular uses numbers for (hill and water) tiles to represent its height. |

How to draw a 3D world with lines, more like a sketch drawing or cartoon Nice, I've been thinking about doing this myself. I think you'd want to use some sort of cel shading though, not just lines. |

How to manage requests for a MMOG? What sort of MMO do you have in mind? If you have 100 players running around in one area that are attacking, chatting, moving etc., then you're going to have more than 50 requests. |

Level Creating Help The performance should be fine as long as you read the pixels into an array instead of looping GetPixel(x,y) calls. |
