How to shift a vector based on the rotation of another vector? Yes, this is what I am already doing: the target (red disc) is the mouse pointer, and the player direction follows it. My problem is to translate the bullet position according to the player rotation, I can’t see how to do this. |

How to shift a vector based on the rotation of another vector? Yes, basically I’m trying to fire the bullet from a gun (blue cross) held by the player (grey square). |

How to shift a vector based on the rotation of another vector? Thank you, but it doesn’t work because (I think) the offset of the bullet need to use the player direction, otherwise it can not be positionned (the blue cross follows the player rotation). I can post a new drawing to clarify this, tell me if it can help! |
