Does the linear attenuation component in lighting models have a physical counterpart? Thanks, but my question is what is the role of the linear attenuation component in modelling light. I ask because it doesn't appear in any physics model of light that I'm aware of. The link you provide does NOT explain what the linear attenuation component is for. It just says; "this is linear attenuation", without any other explanation. |
