comment sample project that mix unityscript and c#
@Katana314 Unity's JavaScript isn't really JavaScript (and has a lot of gotchas for people familiar with AS3 or browser scripting), so people have taken to calling it UnityScript.

comment What are some common 3D modeling tools?
The sorts of questions that ask about what tools to use don't really fit well in this site since the answer to that question can change so rapidly and is almost always purely about opinion. There are plenty of websites that maintain lists of these sorts of things though. Here's one: gamefromscratch.com/page/Graphic-Applications.aspx

comment How do I determine if one value is within a certain range of another in Python
@Zolomon Maybe add a bit to your answer about how you can save on the cost of a sqrt call by comparing against the square of the radius?

Your title includes this text: "(How to say + or - in python)". Plus-or-minus is another name people give to a specific mathematical function. Do you know what the name of that function is?

comment Sound Delay With AVAudio Player
+1 Because whatever else is contributing, part of this likely has to do with decoder delay since the file is an mp3, and it looks like the prepareToPlay message prepares the first frame of audio. Sound effects are usually stored in a format that takes little or no work to decode, or else decoded at load time and stored uncompressed in memory so they can be played instantly.

comment Is it possible to make isometric game of 200 * 200 tiles per map in Unity?
Can you elaborate with a little more than "make your own renderer" for the benefit of the asker and future readers? It's not like you can just toss Unity's renderer out the window. You have to change how you use it.

In that case sounds like you specifically need to figure out what to do with MIDI, right? Asking a question specifically about that will attract people who have worked with cross-platform MIDI apis.

Java is not JavaScript, and UnityScript is not JavaScript. Your point about familiarity with a brace-loving language applies to both UnityScript and C# and is valid, but it's important to be precise.

There are plenty of resources with information about available game dev tools, and nobody can give you any answer worth your reading time until you've dug in a little deeper and figured out what your exact technical problems are (like when you discover that Cocos2dx doesn't handle vector graphics for you). At which point you have to figure out if vector graphics are a hard requirement for you or not. Sorry if this sounds blunt, want to make sure you're getting the best info you can for yourself.

It sounds like you're mainly asking, "What engine should I use?" which isn't a very useful question to ask, and the FAQ asks that you refrain from asking such questions.
