I have always been interested in computers and how they work. I started learning Java as a freshman in High School, and quickly picked up C# as well, which I used in conjunction with XNA and Monogame to make simple 2D games and programs for my own entertainment. Now I am starting my sophomore year at University studying Computer Science, so I am teaching myself C++ and using OpenGL to make games. I've also dabbled a bit in web design (HTML5, css), but I will always enjoy creating applications more than websites.
I think this is an amazing site that is a spectacular treasure trove of knowledge. However, far too often the veterans of this site think their job is no longer to help people with their questions, but rather to tell the questioner that their question is the wrong one to ask, and proceed to give a useless answer. Please don't be like this.
