Stack Frames and the Heap @byte56 Okay. I can agree with that. But I was actually looking for a more technical answer. Such as where specifically is each of these objects kept. I am aware that the stack segment is used for a programs stack frame but I am unsure of whether the heap is the data segment or another piece altogether. (This is if we are speaking in terms of assembly language). |

Stack Frames and the Heap I would argue that it is very relevant to game programming. When writing games the most common problems arise from logic errors and proper management of memory especially on the mobile platform. |
