I've been a PHP/HTML/JS/CSS guy now for about 12 years but have recently gone to the dark side and am presently learning Java (and Android while I'm at it) with a view to awesomeness beyond imagination.

Programming a game Actually some excellent games have been created using Game Maker such as Spelunky and Hotline Miami, the latter of which has made a decent amount of money and the former is a very popular freeware title which has been ported to xbox and is doing very nicely there. [saying this as a LibGDX user with a little GM experience] |

Can I develop a game on PC in Java and move it to Android? Really like libGDX, still learning it but it's absolutely delicious. |

Can I develop a game on PC in Java and move it to Android? Do they still work with the post 0.9.6 stage2d refactoring? |

Can I develop a game on PC in Java and move it to Android? I'd suggest from the original question stating the desire to build the game in java and then port to android that java is not a problem, and likely the user wants to have both platforms working. |
