comment Function calls between classes and driver program in text based game
Research composition and inheritance in OOP. You can also search for component based models.

comment Armature in Unity3d distorted
When you say "rearranging bone assignments" you're talking about changing parent/child relationships? Because that's been the problem when this has happened on my models.

comment Can I develop a game on PC in Java and move it to Android?
"on my pc", what else would be your environment? Mac? Try to rephrase your question for more clarity. Do you, or do you not want to use the Android SDK, if so, what is your reasoning?

comment Spaceship interiors: How to approach, implementation-wise?
How big is the ship? When you say one or two models, do you mean one or two meshes? I'd imagine you'd have to use many meshes to build a ship of some size. Unless you're talking about a pod.

comment What is a currently a good game stack for simple Javascript 2D multiplatform game?
What kind of physics do you need? In your question you said you only needed simple collision checks, you don't need an API to do this. And you certainly don't need a "game dev API" to do a simple 2D shooter.

Can't you just place a MovieTexture on top of the WebCamTexture, using the same coordinates?

comment Why no night sky with realistic star constellations?
A lot of fiction (films and books) take place on Earth, that doesn't mean it's not a fictionalized Earth, why should the constellations be the same? Another reason is simply that star constellations is rarely of importance to gameplay. It's like if a botanist complains at the unrealistic flora in a game.

comment At this point in time, avoid XNA?
XNA does not seem to be a success if we're talking general adoption, XNA might be popular among Stack Exchange users, though. But if you look at released games, even among Xbox Live games, very few are XNA developed, this worries me a bit...

Unless I've misunderstood something, I'd need to shell out $4500 to get all features Unity offers, and be able to deploy on Android and iOS? I'm not yet sure what exactly the free version offers, but it seemed to be pretty limited feature wise.
