Ok then, so it's equivalent to a reflection on a hard plane like surface. How about simply moving back the sphere along its moving direction (given by its current speed vector) til contact point, then applying the reflection calculation?

comment Difference between Material and Shader
couldn't one extend the definition of a material to every senses supported by the game engine? For instance, the sounds that the material will produce when hit, stepped upon, etc. , or its friction parameters?
