Precomputing Visibility Please bear with me but I really do not understand: what's the point on using a middleware such as Unity, if it doesn't handle this kind of problem? It's his job FFS! |

Custom Content Package for Files Every little helps for what? Preventing users from watching your data and doing nothing about it is so utterly pointless that makes me sad. This idiotic requirement most certainly exists to prevent other people from re-using those data, so you only have to care about determined people who will try hard and succeed (because, as I said, in the long run they just can't fail). |

What framerate should I aim for on a mobile phone? Are you sure that faster framerates drains the battery any significant amount? I mean, did you actually try or you just assumed it? Remember that on most mobile phones the huge battery drain is the display itself. |

Custom Content Package for Files that's the point! Since you can't really secure it, it is mandatory for you (if you are not stupid) to exactly know what these incompetents want you to do. Otherwise whatever you do, since it won't work, you can be held liable (of not doing something that couldn't be done in the first place). |

Custom Content Package for Files If someone steals a piece of gold from your home, he has your piece of gold. If someone grabs your precious model from your datafile, he can do as many copies as he wishes. So, no, this example doesn't work since here it totally doesn't matter how many people crack through your worthless protection: one is enough. |

How can I write a Save/Load system for my game? If your corporation prevents you from reading stuff you need to work they are idiots at best. |

What's in a name? @jacmoe: you forgot "Etc.", so that would be "Shadowy Night Chronicles of the Legendary Dragon Powered Super Ninja etc." |

Most Efficient way to read a Settings Configuration File XML is not the answer to everything. Actually, it's rarely the correct answer whatever the question is. |

Does using an licensed game engine prevent you from open sourcing a defunct work? Agree @Joe. Still, if you kept your code and the library well separated, you could very likely open source at least your code - but I guess that's not the case. |

What makes a good educational game? So you are going to sell "just to some Australian school" instead of "the whole world"? Doesn't look like a great business plan. Unless, as I said, you happen to already have a signed contract with such a school. |

How do you prevent inflation in a virtual economy? -1 This is about preventing inflation. Suggesting to ban all trade to solve that is like suggesting to avoid sex to prevent STDs... |

Balance in online PvP games This won't help if points can go up to infinite: people will be crushed anyway by people with so much more points. Very very very slightly better than the time-based one, fine, but so slightly it hardly matters. |

How do you prevent inflation in a virtual economy? Duplication? There's no duplication in a real online game! |

How do you prevent inflation in a virtual economy? @Cyclops: true, you would need to completely re-design. Is that a bad thing? No. For a already-completed game is a useless thing, but for future games could be the key point of success. |
