Hi there! I'm a college student in computer science in Quebec, Canada. I plan on going to university after that, and I'll probably end up working into game development, although I am not 100% sure yet.
I do game development in my spare time, as well as experience with other computer science domains every once in a while for the fun of it.
Here are the languages/technologies that I mainly use/know:
C++
- DirectX
- ClanLib
C#
- XNA
- WPF/Winforms
Javascript
Flash (to my dearest regret)
When I'm not programming or at school, I end up doing one of these:
- Guitar / listen to music
- Run / badminton
- Game (Starcraft2, League of Legends, Minecraft, Killing Floor, ...)
- Read about Math / Science
- Program a bit more
- Hang out with friends
That's pretty much all there is to say, really.
If you have some time to kill, you can always take a look at my blog.
If you read up to this point: sir, have a very nice day. You are awesome. Here, take an Internet.

Basic Python Question, Working with Function and List @user30869 Feel free to come here for anything else game-related though! We love to help, although we just want the questions to go to the according site. :) Stackoverflow is a fantastic resource with incredibly fast feedback for anything about general programming. |

Basic Python Question, Working with Function and List This would be better suited on stackoverflow.com, as it is not really related to game development. |

Efficient way of detecting a touched object in a game? @Miro: Indeed, but I must admit I do not have a lot of experience with Java. If it had been C++ I would have recommended a profiler and explained the basics, but I'm not of much help here. Feel free to recommend profilers that you know! I just wanted to recommend avoiding pre-optimization. |
