how to keep display tick rate steady when using continuous collision detection? I like your solution 2. I think I will try it. It will only affect one frame in which there is a collision in-between. I will have to keep track of the 'fake' speed and the real speed for that one frame only, so no problem. I do not want to use an engine, since this is just for learning, and I'd like to learn how to do this. |
