comment Does an inventory limit in an MMORPG make sense?
@MarkusvonBroady It is more so than having infinite inventory space. It really depends on how you implement it also. I don't feel strongly in either direction, I just wanted to root out this whole rant against realism because I feel like realism is important just shouldn't be over used.

@MarkusvonBroady I agree with Mitchell Ensink, you should add challenge, and hints of realism isn't a bad thing, just don't format yourself to it. If something was completely unrealistic, it would eventually reach a point which the end user might not completely comprehend what's going on. Some realistic elements will always exist, and should. If I go by your idea, does that mean I shouldn't use trees in my game because they are real existing things? Realism isn't bad, too much is. Games don't have to be a completely different reality to be enjoyable.

comment How do you set up PhysFS for use in a game?
I for one agree with Joe. PhysFS is a filesystem library, its functions are pretty basic. You don't require much knowledge of PhysFS, but rather of how filesystems work. All you really need to know is how to initialize it, then its all typical filesystem API.

comment Game Server on Windows Azure
I don't know if cloud computing is the best solution, you're going to be paying by the minute. You might be better off getting a VPS and/or using a p2p network scheme for UDP(syncing coordinates). Then again if the server is idle you won't be charged for the idle time, if you implement it correctly.

comment Physics not synchronizing correctly over the network when using Bullet
eye candy doesn't need to sync, it can be per-client calculated. the response on the client is calculated on the server, the coordinates for the client are just calculated and sent back, you don't send a callback to the client saying it collided, that would probably look horrible.
