Exporting XNA class library as a DLL file I was only responding to a flag. The definition of a downvote is "this answer is not useful". His question was how to compile a DLL and you have answered it by telling him to open and compile it. I guess it's valid in some sense, but I would agree that it's not useful/helpful to the author. If you put yourself in his shoes and then read your answer, do you think it answers his questions? Regardless, it's up to the community and original author to decide what's a good answer by voting, I was merely giving a suggestion. |

Exporting XNA class library as a DLL file Please give more details. This doesn't seem to actually answer the question. |

using std::chrono::steady_clock for timing Perhaps you should take a look into the source code of a game library's timing functions; behind them you should simply find some system-specific API calls, nothing custom or arcane. The game library should simply be using the best standard timer choice, that is, one which is high resolution and accurate. |

What do XNA C# programmers do for inspiration? Also in our FAQ is a list of other places to ask this type of question. I just added the section recently so it might not have existed at the time you asked this question. It's an interesting question, but as Byte56 said, not a good fit for our Q&A format. |

Automatically generate character face Your key question here seems to be where to locate a pack of artwork containing face pieces. This is a discussion/list question, not well suited for our Q&A format. It is similar to "where free assets can be found" which is explicitly discouraged in our FAQ; please try asking elsewhere. |

What are the most common AI systems implemented in Tower Defense Games Limiting a number of responses (which, by the way, is not really possible since anyone can give an answer) is not meaningful, nor does it make a question less open ended. "Popular" is a good way to judge useful. It's sort of a list question, but I think the question is valid - what AI algorithms apply to tower defense games. And it's plausible that these algorithms could be discovered/known for closed-source games as well. Some games expose them in editor utilities, some might have a dev blog that talks about it or a Q&A with a developer, and so on. |

Making a Photo Hunt Game using Javascript and HTML5 This question is vague (what is a "photo hunt" game?) and broad. You should define what you want, break it down into the pieces you need (you gave a couple of examples), and then work on those pieces and ask specific, answerable questions here if you have trouble. In any case, please improve your question. |
