Simultaneous game states Actually, nobody knows how to do this really well: have multiple quasi-independent things going on that are each amenable to representing individually as a FSM, but which interact with each other without producing any pathological behavior. Biological organisms have it really well figured out. Maybe eventually we'll figure it out also. |
