Emmett is a student at New York University with a double major in Music Technology and Computer Science. He learned all the Python he knows from working at Parsely, and is a 2012 HackNY fellow. He has a keen interest in video game development and design, and has self-published several games (Dokideux Panikku), along with a number of web-based hacks and freelance work. Among these hacks is a Twitter bot account affectionately named @space_dad that uses random web scraping to generate ostensibly humorous material. A lifelong musician, he has played and taught piano and keyboards in addition to composing and recording his own electronic music. His interests include video game creation, pixel art, non-sequitur based humor, and the NYC chiptune scene.
