Hexagon collision detection for fast moving objects? Looks like a rather interesting approach, however, I don't grasp it 100% yet, what happens when the object is really small and is moving between the two lines? i.imgur.com/hRolvAF.png |

Hexagon collision detection for fast moving objects? @SteveH I am looking for the most flexible solution, so the length/width ratio is a kinda big deal. |

Crowdfunding an indie game. What should I offer back? @JoshPetrie If the Kickstarter fails, there is no long-term business you can do. Also cost per copy is 0, so the more copies the better, and with preorder's from Kickstarter you have a lot more >paid< copies from the beginning. |

Crowdfunding an indie game. What should I offer back? I highly doubt that this is a good idea, the majority of people will only care about the game, so by not providing the game as possible option you will lose a lot backers and at the same time a large part of the fan base. (people are much more likely to be fan of something they invested time or money into). Also it's one of the most profitable rewards for the developer: a digital download doesn't even cost the developer a cent. |

Hexagon collision detection for fast moving objects? Problem with this is that if the sizes of the objects are a lot different, the smaller object can move inside the path of the large object without triggering a collision. |

Awesome universal Mod Manager but where to get Mods? Why have a central repository in the first place? Many mod sites allow to download files directly. You could write downloading code for the different sites and maybe make a browser plugin that helps feeding the data to your mod manager. |

Setting up openGL on Linux If you load the functions via glXGetProcAddressARB the header shouldn't matter at all. What kind of context you get depends on what context you request not what header you include. Maybe you could also use the glcorearb.h header instead. (According to the OpenGL Website it is the GL 4 replacment for gl3.h) |
