comment How do I calculate collision response between a sphere and a plane?
@Leggy7 depending on the velocities involved that could look really strange (the sphere would "bounce" abnormally far or close for one frame). Try it out and see what happens.

@tieTYT feel free to update the answer. I community wiki'd it when I answered it for this exact reason.

comment Secure login for a game that is open source
@Pureferret sorry, no. I don't have any API-level knowledge of Java: all I know is the basic background of how JAR files are signed. It's also not an appropriate answer for this question. I am sure you will have success if you ask a question such as "How to extract a signature from the currently executing JAR file" on StackOverflow. Keep in mind it can easily be circumvented (the goal is to discourage tampering, you can't prevent it).

comment How to calculate turn heading to a missile?
@dlots step 5 is supposed to add the new 'limited turn rate angle' to the current movement vector - basically it changes the direction of the missile.

comment How should I account for the GC when building games with Unity?
@TenFour04 depends on the .Net runtime, I can't remember when they improved it (I have simulated it before, and can't now) - but Microsoft 4.0 should definitely be fine (I am unaware about SGen, which is what Unity uses - so best to be sure). But in the 'bad' behavior it would happen exactly as you described - the nested object would be promoted and only be collected much later on.

comment Should Vector3 inherit from Vector2?
@bobobobo _mm_loadu_ps should work out for you with that struct (where _mm_load_ps won't). I also added your suggestion - feel free to edit the question if you feel that I am barking up the wrong tree (it has been a while since I have used C[++]).
