comment General directions on developing a server side control system for JS/Canvas Action RPG
lets pretend, the pro hacker disabled server interaction completly, what is going to happen? lets pretend he level up to max cap, and killed world boss in 2 seconds with white weapon, it all happned in the client, its just fulfilling his fantacy but nothing is in the server, his scores, level, coins will remain same & lame. btw above answer is given in conjunction with his previous question where he is not interested in implementing complete/complex server checks.

comment How can I specify which enemies to spawn for each round in a tower defense?
a balanced TD game is always hard coded. you will realize after playing top TD games.

comment Why is it so hard to develop a MMO?
I agree with Stephen Belanger, OP wants to develop MMORPG like WoW, not WoW itself. I like the stats though

comment Is flash game development not considered 'proper' game development?
I agree, but the down side of flash is that your code is not safe. Its very easy to crack.

@Sam sprite/movieclip is also a single hit, infact it is possible to pack multiple sprites (like multiple sprite-sheets) within a flash swf file. so I dont see any advantage gain in terms of number of HTTP requests
