Lately I've been seeing a lot more space related games with spaceships in them. Yet, I can't find any up-to-date guides and tutorials on modeling spaceships. Furthermore, I cannot find any resources for texture-mapping such models.

I've spent a good 75+ hours modeling, texturing, animating, and rendering just two models.

Is there a better way to learn modeling 3D spaceships?

Theres loads on youtube for blender – Dave Mar 2 at 20:49
I've searched again, and found 2-3 new ones. The problem I have with build videos is they don't discuss technique. some of Pene Menn's tutorials using google sketchup use techniques I've never come across. Though I have to admit, Andrew Price's tutorial was new for me. – Nathan Goings Mar 2 at 21:55
Have you tried polycount.com yet? – Patrick Hughes Mar 3 at 0:06
blenderartists.org has a forum section dedicated to blender tutorials. – sarahm Mar 3 at 0:07

While it's a reasonable question, I don't think this is the site for it. Creating art is something that takes time and practice. Just keep working at it. – Byte56 Mar 4 at 16:03
