So am stucked at selection of platform to go forward

I read about EaselJS a library for game developers..

hows this library will it be helpful to start with? Is it wise to go for HTML5 canvas for game development? suggest me any gud new library?with good documentation...

Does easelJS support WebGL i know this a naive
