I am 16 years old and still at school(UK). I really enjoy creating maps using things like the creation kit and workshop on steam. I have loads of game ideas and every game I play creates 100 more.

What I want to know is if there is a viable career creating mods/levels/maps or writing for games? It's what I love to do and if this is something I could get paid to do long term, it's something I want to be in on.

This is a very open ended question and not really the target of this site. However, level design is a job role in many companies (Falls mainly under the art department). – CobaltHex Jan 14 at 0:42
@Cobalt is quite right in that you're asking in the wrong place. However, we have a chatroom for just this sort of thing! There are some resources also in the FAQ if you'd like to look into a career in games. – Anko Jan 14 at 0:46
