I want to begin developing 2d games. I have a lot experience in Java programming. I am looking for an 2d game engine that supports physics, support mouse actions and easy to use. I know Stencyl but I do not want to use it. An open source game engine can be wonderful.

Slick2D is a Java game library with physics: http://slick.cokeandcode.com/. If you have some problems setting it up for development, this should help you: http://ty.gdcore.com/2012/08/09/setting-up-slick2d-with-eclipse/.
Another engine that seems pretty cool, but isn't Java, is LÖVE. It uses the Lua scripting language. https://love2d.org/
it depends...for which platform you want to develop games?
if you want to develop for IOS for example, you want to use cocos2d with chipmunk(physics)
