Could you please list a few free 3d OOP game engines, along with the pros and cons? Embeddable in VB.net would be great.

There's idTech4 now too, although that's quite old, but GPL.

It depends on the language that you want to use. I have always liked the format of Java so I used the jMonkeyEngine to do this

Well it's sort of like a 95% duplicate. There's not an /exact/ match. And I posted only to point out all the possible duplicates in a nicer format than a long comment of URLs. – Ricket♦ Sep 23 '10 at 18:41
