I hope to start using the PS3 PhyreEngine with the Havok physics engine and wondered where would be the best place to start? Possibly with another graphics engine thats similar to phyre engine that i can practice using havok. The reason i ask is because Phyre Engine doenst seem to have alot of Documentation and im a beginner.

Do you realize that PhyreEngine is not freely available and that development for the PS3 is only allowed for licensed developers? Thus, there isn't a lot of information. – mrbinary May 15 '12 at 11:46
PhyreEngine is free to use, but you cannot develop for the PS3 without a license from Sony, which are apparently costly. – Byte56 May 15 '12 at 14:14
It is free for licensed developers. I have not heard of a public release. – 5ound May 15 '12 at 15:41
Apparently, it leaked, but this doesn't give you the right to use it if you're not a licensed Sony developer. – Laurent Couvidou May 15 '12 at 18:08
Not to mention that Phyre is designed for experienced platform developers, it's definitely not a learning environment. There are tons of OSS engines that use Havok, if that's your focus. – Patrick Hughes May 15 '12 at 18:43
