I want to use Java and also J2EE preferably, but the main question is: What do I use for graphics while making games in Java?

possible duplicate of 2D Game dev and Java. Other possibilities than OpenGL? Also: why would you want to use J2EE? It would only be useful for implementing a persistent game server, and even that's up for debate. –  michael.bartnett Apr 3 '12 at 4:31

I'd go more with not constructive. This isn't a "What's available?" type question, it's a "What should I use?" type question. Opinion based, unanswerable in its current form. We'd need to know more about what the requirements are and what the OP wants for an end result. –  Byte56 Apr 3 '12 at 4:57
