A DES file is text file. In this file you can find information about the atlas(sprrite sheet) file including: where to find atlas (sprite sheet) image AND describe the position of original image on atlas image. As example if you have a folder called MainMenu and two files button.png after atlas making process you’ll have DES file button.des.But I dont know the process of making the .des files from the .png files can anyone explain that to me?

What library are you using that needs these files? Usually they provide or suggest a tool that spits out the data it needs in the format it wants. – Tetrad♦ Mar 10 '12 at 8:27
I am not using any library I just have some images with extension that are required to be converted to .des file format – hariszaman Mar 10 '12 at 9:01
.des sounds very unfamiliar. Perhaps it is somebody's homerolled code? – karmington Mar 11 '12 at 5:28
What game engine is that? Can you post the contents of a DES file or the code that loads it? – rraallvv Jan 6 at 4:50
