What are some good resources (books, articles, sites) about polygon intersection and union algorithms?

It would be better if you had a specific question or use case so that the answer would be the algorithm instead of a resource (that might go dark in the future). – Tetrad Mar 7 '12 at 18:08

This is discussed in every Computational Geometry textbook. I'll link to my own, but this is not intended to exclude the other good books available. However, if you are after fine details rather than overall understanding, code links may be preferrable. – Joseph O'Rourke Mar 7 '12 at 19:39
