I am wondering if anyone has an estimate of what the growth rate is for developers (programmers) with knowledge of how to build AAA MMOs1?

It depends on their DXP (Developer eXperience Points), and programmers with more DXP tend to get more GP. Also, each programmer tends to have "De-Bug" potions, "Efficiency" spells, a Mouse serving as personal "Familiar," and the rare-yet-wildly-sought-after "Golden Keyboard of Infinite Power" (which triples Dexterity) and "Silk Mouse Pad" (which enhances aim, but only if it was crafted on a Multi-Threaded Loom that was recently blessed by a drunken monk -- the challenge here is getting a monk drunk {it's very expensive since these monks can handle a lot of liquor!}). ;-P – Randolf Richardson Jun 15 '11 at 6:18
